Schilthorn - Piz Gloria - Revolving restaurant & BOND WORLD 007


The most impressive 360° panorama experience in the Alpine region awaits you here! In the world's first rotating restaurant at 2,970 metres, the most spectacular high-Alpine mountain panorama with over 200 peaks glides silently by as you dine. The panoramic view encompasses Mount Titlis, the Bernese Alps, Mont Blanc and the Midland region all the way to the Black Forest. In winter, the Schilthorn is the starting point for the Inferno race to Lauterbrunnen.
Since the end of June 2013, the world of James Bond 007 has been given a new dimension: the interactive BOND WORLD 007 exhibition features seven key scenes from the film and includes a private cinema!
The PIZ GLORIA VIEW platform with a view of the rotating restaurant and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is another new addition. Entrance to BOND WORLD 007 and the PIZ GLORIA VIEW is free of charge.

Birg THRILL WALK

From the Birg terrace the cliff pathway THRILL WALK leads down into the vertical walls of the imposing rock massif. The steel structure clings to the rock, and then swings under the observation platform and the cable car to end below the cable car station.

Allmendhubel - "Flower Trail"


Visit Mürren's local mountain with the best view of the north faces in the Bernese Alps. The restaurant with its large sun terrace invites you to stop and linger for a while. Hikers can refresh their feet by dipping them in the "Kneipp" cold-water bath. Meanwhile, families with children will enjoy the spacious playground, and flower lovers will be amazed by the 150 mountain flower species on the "Flower Trail" circular path (20 mins.) around the Allmendhubel.

Aare Gorge

Glacier gorge Rosenlaui

picturesque Rosenlaui valley. The water which thunders through
the Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge has formed veritable art works
out of the cliffs! A well marked trail takes you through this
stunning glacier gorge. Tip: the gorge is even more impressive
on a rainy day!

Enjoy an afternoon snack in the mountain restaurant or zoom along an 800-metre line on the "First Flieger" (a type of zipline) to the Schreckfeld midway station below. With an hour's hike, you can reach Bachalpsee, a mountain lake that reflects the snow-capped peaks surrounding it.

Männlichen


Männlichen is easily accessible by train from both Grindelwald and Wengen. The Männlichen area is a summertime starting point for numerous hikes, while in winter the slopes invite you to carve your way through the snow or race a sledge down the mountain.

Pfingstegg


Pfingstegg lies at 1,390 metres above sea level, and is easy to reach from Grindelwald with a five-minute ride on a cable car. An attractive summer toboggan run is located right behind the mountaintop cable car station. The 750-m-long circular course is fun for young and old alike. The Pfingstegg mountain restaurant right beside the cable car station will treat you to delicious food and a fantastic view of the valley below.

Trümmelbach Falls


The Trümmelbach Falls are the only accessible underground glacier waterfalls in the world, with a lift, galleries, tunnels, paths and platforms for viewing. They channel all the meltwater from the glaciers on the Jungfrau to the valley, with up to 20,000 litres of water flowing through per second.
